Amazon frogbit floating plants 🌱
$10 per cup - contains 5 individual plants as shown in the first picture!

This plant is amazing for maintaining the look and water quality of your aquarium! It is a fast growing plant that feeds off nitrates in the water column so the (dirtier) the tank the better!

You can keep it trimmed short or let it grow wild as it will stretch roots right down to the bottom of the tank if you’re wanting a jungle! In the pictures I have added the roots were trimmed just over a week ago so you can see how fast the roots will reach the bottom with ample nutrients.

This Lilly pad style plant is also capable of producing beautiful white flowers on the surface when it is happy as shown in the pictures.

Currently I have 3 types of Cryptocoryne plants, Saggitaria Subulata in varying sizes between 10-24 inches tall, and two types of floating plants including frogbit & duckweed.

TROPICA - Saggitaria Subulata (16 pots available)

This grass is also known as dwarf saggitaria. It’s the easiest carpeting plant to grow in hard water! Plant alone for a carpeting affect or you can plant it amongst other plants to give texture like shown in the pictures amongst some crypt plants in my Axolotl setup!

This plant grows taller in low light & spreads more and stays shorter in higher lighting, making this an ideal choice for any type of planted aquarium.

Here’s a time lapse of my 75 gallon tank!

I’ll be re-scraping this tank soon and recording all the setup along the way to help show how to setup a nice planted tank!

The plan is to make a nice enough scape that I can enter into the IALPC2022 Competition!

Fish in this tank:
36 rummy nose Tetra
8 albino corys
6 flying fox sharks
6 green Jade shrimp

Plants:
Rotala rotundifolia
Crypt wendtii tropica
Crypt becketti petchii (my favourite crypt)
Anubias Barteri
Anubias Barteri nana
Crinum calamastratum
Legenandra meboldii red
Bolbitis

Currently this tank was for growing out my crypts and crinum! So if you want any crypts let me know! They are hands down the best plant for hard water.
