Caesar must be planning on hitting the road soon 😅
Seen here are two of my absolute favourite possessions (Caesar not included because you don’t own cats, they own you haha).
This is the rug I stood on and officially declared my love for Andrew in front of our closest friends. We shared love and laughter (as well as a couple tequila shots) while standing on this rug. It’s one of the only wedding decor that I kept and it warms the floor by our bedroom in our home.
This suitcase cost me $10 at a flea market and has protected my belongings on many, if not all, my travels over the past 10yrs. She’s been to Vegas and Salt Lake City. She’s tumbled down dirty paths in every forest festival I’ve been to and she reminds me that beautiful things don’t need to be tucked away or put behind glass. She’s a little rough around the edges, now, but she still receives compliments from everyone she meets.
I may acquire a lot of things in my rotations around the sun, but the things I keep hold stories and memories and feelings I never want to forget.

I thrifted this jacket back in ‘09 and it honestly sat my closet for until last year.
When I was planning my Vintage Rock n Roll wedding, I knew I wanted a statement jacket and I’m forever grateful that I still had this kicking around because it completed my look PERFECTLY.
I added a few custom patches and 💥 BOOM 💥
I may even be more in love with it than my new hubby 😜

Oh, man, do I have a story for you!
I’ve been absent from this page for the past couple weeks but I promise it’s for good reason.
I’ve been off living my vintage-inspired wedding DREAMS and I still can’t believe that it’s happened!
For as long as I can remember, I’ve wanted a unique and memorable wedding and on October 1, 2021 my dreams came true.
I’ll get back to my regular posting of unique and vintage items in a few days, but can I get a commotion for these amazing photos?!

Betty’s macrame pieces may have been dreamt up in the 70s but they’re adapted and brought to life with a “twist”. Using new & thrifted jute and cotton cord, she aims to maintain that classic vintage style while appealing to the “old souls” of today and spreading those hippie vibes far and wide. She started with plant hangers and has expanded to wall hangings, keychains, earrings, and more! Betty is open to commissioned pieces and is always looking to expand her practice.

is an individually operated local artist who believes in creating sustainable art that can be appreciated in many ways. Sam likes to experiment with all sorts of mediums, including (buy never limited to) photography, glass work, resin art, carpentry, all things science, dried flaura, jewelry and combinations of all. She's alway experimenting with something weird, never making the same thing twice. Her art centers in manipulating light, and experimenting with different mediums gives her many opportunities to chase it.
