Happy BC Day from historic Fort Langley! 🇨🇦🤎
We are grateful to be part of a community with such a significant and complex place in our province’s history, located on the traditional and unceded territories of the Kwantlen, Katzie, Matsqui and Semiahmoo First Nations.
On November 19, 1858, the Colony of British Columbia was officially proclaimed at Fort Langley—an event that shaped the province as we know it today. We also recognize that Indigenous peoples have cared for, lived on and shaped these lands since time immemorial, long before colonial settlement.
Today, Fort Langley continues to preserve and share these layered histories, and we feel fortunate to have Village Antiques Mall located within such a meaningful community.
