Join Noah from Noah for a lovely afternoon of learning traditional tapestry weaving techniques on a little loom this Saturday June 27 from 1-4!

Students will receive a full mini-loom kit to take home after class, which includes the loom and essential tools. All other materials will be provided.

You will learn how to warp a loom, tabby weave, colour blend and make simple shapes.

It’s a good day when pastry chef Teddy Gopaloo stops by! We have some new cake flavours this week (and don’t worry — we had to test them 😉). As always everything is gluten free and thoroughly vetted by the gluten eaters to be sure it’s the tastiest around 😘.


We’re down a slice before they even made it to the fridge…no idea how that happened 🍴. This currant cake is bright, tangy and sweet.

And there’s a vegan version for our dairy free pals 😘.

This is our favourite lil “snack” cake. For Hayley, this brings back fond memories of her time in France, sampling Financiers and local bakeries!

Anything on top of this almond crumb cake is divine.

GINGERSNAP TM is coming for a pop up June 26 at The Spinnacle Yarn Cafe. No one panic 😱 🎉 🎊. They’ve been a family run business since their origin back in 2026. And they’ve become family to us, too, so I’m extra excited they are coming all the way from Calgary to bring their beautiful yarn, bags and treasures to us!

If you don’t know Kim and Colin, I’m excited for you, because that means you have 2 fibre friends you’re about to meet. They are so warm, creative and just a hint sarcastic 😉.
