We're going back in time at Christ Church Community Museum tomorrow for our first guided graveyard tour of the season!

Join historian Joe Latour for a wander around the church's beautiful and historic graveyard where some of Lakefield's earliest settlers are buried. The tour begins at 2pm, reservations not required.

The Lakefield Literary Festival gets underway Friday evening, 7:00 p.m. at Lakefield College School.

Founded in 1995, the festival was established to commemorate renowned Canadian novelist Margaret Laurence, who made the Village of Lakefield her home.

The program continues tomorrow (Saturday, July 18) with events taking place at LCS throughout the day.

The always popular Children's Tent takes place on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at Lakefield United Church, held in partnership with Selwyn Public Library.

It will be a great event! 10am start. Arrive early to get your child's name in the book draw and get a seat.
