Tomorrow’s the day — Brewberry Books officially opens its doors! 🎉 Come for a visit and let us show you our store filled with great reads, fun games, beautiful puzzles and (of course) delicious brews.

Where is the store located? Great question...let me help! Locals....We are in the old furniture building across the street from the high school. Out of towners... we are located at #2-169 South Shore Road, Lake Cowichan, BC. Driving through town on South Shore Road, after you drive past the A&W, turn right on Cowichan Avenue West, the store will be on your left. If you do get turned around... call 250-701-7000 for assistance. 💐

We’re so excited to share that Brewberry Books will be opening our doors for a soft launch on Tuesday, April 28, 2026!

Come by to explore our shelves of books, browse games and puzzles, and enjoy something delicious from our café bar—featuring hot drinks and refreshing Italian sodas.

This soft opening is just the beginning, and we’d love for you to be part of it!

We’re currently hiring for an on-call position, with the opportunity to transition into part-time hours closer to June. At Brewberry Books, we’re more than just a bookstore—we also offer games, puzzles, and a café bar serving hot drinks and refreshing Italian sodas.

What we’re looking for:
• A friendly, reliable team player
• Someone excited to work in a fun, community-focused space
• Willingness to obtain FoodSafe BC certification (this is a must!)
• Retail and/or Bookstore experience is great but not essential

Note:
We will be open 7 days a week, so weekend work and the occasional evening shift (book club/games night) will be expected.
