My husband and I had occasion to dress up and present ourselves as the shiny new pennies we can sometimes be. I made my dress. Customized to fit me perfectly which made the evening flow by a whirl of comfort, confidence, and feeling beautiful. Of course the pictures had to be taken. 📸 My husband and daughter took pics of me and these were the results. .
I love a good laugh. And I do enjoy not taking myself so seriously. I admit, I don't like being in front of the camera like I did when I was in my twenties or even my thirties. The camera just doesn't tell the whole story. Where double chins pop out to say hi! And waistlines are thicker than previous years, the girl in me is still there..
So here are a few pictures of me. Some serious. Some capturing the way I am in daily life. Pulling faces that make my friends and family laugh. Or just plain feeling the laughter in my joyous heart. .

It's been busy lately and I haven't been posting. I have been doing quite a few projects. Here is one I did back in late August. Of course I forgot to take before pictures. So here is a wee description of what the chair looked like before:

It was ugly. 😂

Now done totally different for a very naturally sophisticated woman. She is just so down to earth with good taste. So I just couldn't do the chair in it's traditional way of wrapped seat.I took extra time to create a cushion for it. It was Grandpa's chair but now it's 💯 percent hers.
