Veteran voice actor Garry Chalk has announced that he has successfully beaten cancer after undergoing treatment.

The news was shared directly with fans, many of whom have followed his work for decades across animation, video games, and television.

Chalk is widely recognized for his iconic performances as Optimus Primal in Beast Wars, Optimus Prime in multiple Transformers series, Megatron, Doctor Robotnik, and Groundskeeper Willie, among many others.

In his message, Chalk expressed gratitude for the support, encouragement, and well-wishes he received throughout his health battle. Fans and fellow performers have since responded with an outpouring of congratulations and appreciation for both his recovery and his lasting impact on animation and pop culture. ❤️
