Tour Central

We toured five different groups through Altario this week. Over the course of a school year we give approximately 75 tours to a variety of parties. Government leaders, school board trustees, service groups, 4H clubs, teachers, parent groups, college groups, and interested individuals all request the opportunity to see what Altario School offers.

The majority of the groups are from parts of Alberta, but we have also toured Canadians from a variety of provinces as well as individuals from Germany, Ukraine, Brazil, Denmark, and Ethiopia.

It’s pretty special to recognize that a small, rural, and remote school has this type of impact. We don’t try to find reasons or excuses not to try things, but we are always looking for ways to improve and embrace new initiatives. That’s the Altario way and we are proud of it.

Sometimes the numbers speak for themselves! Rural is NOT a disadvantage!
