Kickstart your child's creativity this July, learning a new skill is a great way to start off the summer! From July 8th-12th your child will learn or refresh themselves on the basics of sewing and will create some awesome summer accessories. All materials and machines will be provided, the camp will be ages 8+. Limited spots available. $325

We set up a photobooth backdrop for Kingsville District High School's Send-Off Social, which is happening today at 5 p.m.
It's a great opportunity to take a stroll down memory lane and mingle with high school friends. Visit the fun nostalgic decade rooms and be sure to say hello to your old teachers. The organizers have worked very hard to plan lots of fun activities for all to enjoy.

I love that crochet has made a revival with the younger generation and they are creating beautiful projects with a modern twist.

It took three classes for our teens to finish these adorable crochet flower mirrors. They are the perfect decor for their bedrooms. Groovy work girls ✌️🌼🌸

Did you hear there are some new Bug Hotels with vacancies in Kingsville 🐛🪲🐞🕷🐜🦋
Our little artists created some pretty amazing places for all the little creepy crawlers to stay cozy and have a rest when they come out of hiding this spring. Of course, these 5 star hotels have all the amenities a bug would want ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It's always a fun time when these ladies want to get crafty. They created some beautiful dried flower wreaths from flowers we grew last summer. I love how each one was so different.
Dried flowers are a staple at the studio. The kids love using them in potions and for dioramas and adults for embellishments. Our seedlings are looking great for this season and we can't wait to get our hands in the dirt 🌱🌼🌸

The evolution of our staircase at the Nest 🌈
When we began our renos of the studio, the flooring was made up of old, dingy, green and gold, plush carpet EVERYWHERE! Not a very good choice for a commercial setting, so out it went. With all the other things we had on the go and a tight budget, we decided the most cost effective fix was to use the paper bag technique on the risers and use outdoor carpet for the treads. It was okay for a quick fix, but we didn't love it.
Well, now we do! We grabbed some paint from our collection and gave it a flashy new vibe.
We're asked all the time what's upstairs at the Nest. Do we live up there? Are there more art and craft supplies up there? Are we hiding a super secret craft club?
Well, don't fret, the mystery will be revealed soon and we can't wait to show you what we've been working on. Stay tuned for more clues... 🔎🧐

How cute is this custom wreath I made for a friend who is a hair stylist.
I have been hoarding these thrifted rollers, pins, clips and perm rods for the perfect project. I absolutely love the retro colours of the rods. It's such a cheerful and fun piece.
