Coming to the shop today!

It doesn’t matter that the summer temperatures are here, I’m still making cozy beanies.

I buy most of my yarn & supplies for the year in January & February so I have supplies and ready to just make all the things. Which means all my new yarn won’t fit on my shelves and I need to get on it!

So before markets start I’m taking the time to get ahead. Something I ALWAYS said I’d do, but I never end up actually doing it.

Well this year is different already! 😉 I have a list of what to make and I’m on track! It is only April. I do have 6 handmade markets I’m planning this year and it’s ramping up…quick! I might be finally taking my own advice.

Wish me luck! 😝

BIG NEWS REVEALED - it’s our birthday!

8 years ago, I started on a journey that looked nothing like where I’m at today. But sometimes the universe has other plans for us and you kinda just roll with it.

I’ve always been interested in making products - this began way back in high school. But time and life choices took me on a different path for a while. One day, an opportunity came to make a product that could help out my sister-in-law and the next thing you know, a little hobby/business was born. It’s been a ride ever since with the horizon ever changing along the way.

From my first vendor event in a school gym and 3 scents of product, to creating my first official logo, to joining a co-op that I’m still a part of today, to expanding my line to over 20 products. All of the revamps and redos, trials and errors, travelling to shows, meeting some of the most amazing people on earth, courses to enhance my understanding and capabilities, joining additional stores around the community and finally landing us right where we’re at today.

One year ago today, we BRANCHED out to our very own brick & mortar and it was the most nerve wracking and craziest thing we’ve ever done. And we did it during a pandemic to boot! AND WE SURVIVED. One. Whole. Year! WOW. I have no idea where the time has gone but that just means it’s been one hell of a ride. And we are not finished yet! We’ve still got so much to offer you, always working on new products, new ideas, and new ventures.

So cheers to us, and to the amazing people who helped us reach to where we are today, to our community, our friends and our amazing customers. You’ve all made this journey rewarding in so many ways and we are so grateful.

Happy 1st Birthday to our lovely shop and Happy 8th Birthday as Terra Green!

We love you! Come celebrate with us this week! We’ve got some amazing things planned so keep an eye out on our posts and especially our stories. So much gratitude to share.

I am hoping we can all dance to our own drum…into 2022…from 2021!
I love New Years; it’s a special time—
Lots of reflections…lots of planning.
This year I’m playing with the idea of making each new day a mini New Years celebration… each new day offers us the same opportunity to reflect and act in accordance with our true selves.
So, I am whole heartedly sending out best wishes for New Year’s Eve! At the same time, I am sharing my goal to begin each new day in appreciation of the gift that it is.

I’m sure very few people are still reading my little proclamation; but I want to share a quote from a silly movie we watched last night “Kung Fu Panda”. I had to research where the quote actually came from before sharing this!!

The wise turtle quoted Elenor Rosevelt “Today is a gift, that’s why we call it the present”!!!

Anyway, Happy New Year! But so t worry if it’s not the perfect evening or the day you hoped for, between now, and next New Years we have 365 New Days!!!!
