hi, love. greetings Unique greeting cards, art prints & gifts
Handmade by Melanie Sampson
Indigenous (Inuk) woman owned Hi, I'm Mel! greetings!) began. "hi, love. hi, love.

I’m a former radio broadcaster who has followed my entrepreneurial dream! (That Grade 12 Enterprise award was a bit of foreshadowing, I guess!) I’m an Indigenous woman (Inuk, Beneficiary of Nunatsiavut) who grew up in Labrador. I spent 17 years as a broadcaster, promotions manager, and brand manager in the radio industry. On paper, my shop started when I was 4 years old and first made cards for my

family. Skip ahead a few years and I discovered swear words. Skip ahead a little more and I met and fell in love with a tall, handsome man named Goose. Goose and I never intended to have a serious relationship. But, here we are, nearly 20 years later... married, happy, madly in love, and living in the beautiful Annapolis Valley, Nova Scotia where we (and hi, love. We live with our two cats, Kitty and Holly. Our love and the love of people around me inspired me to write a lot of notes filled with messages of love. Some were very sweet, while others were filled with adult language I adore. greetings" got its name from something Goose and I say to each other a few hundred times each day, "hi, love." I still smile when I see these words on a card or on my shop logo. After purchasing my first pro printer, (Eppy! I’ve just purchased Eppy 2.0!), I was able to share my cards at the quality I wanted. I also wanted to keep my business as environmentally friendly as possible without sacrificing quality or value. Since then, I’ve grown my skills and am now able to offer a variety of products for personal and business use. I have found so much joy in combining my imagination, technical skills, and love of storytelling. I simply love putting ideas in motion. (I have big hair and big ideas!) It all started simply with love and paper and I carry that handmade ethos with me. I love the constant flow of ideas the people in my life encourage. For that, I am forever grateful. greetings is growing, and that's thanks to you! We look forward to change, growth, and most certainly, adventure! I hope you'll join me!

In the second episode of Business Built Different, host Jillisa Brown chats with Mandy Acosta on storytelling, accessibility, and building as a Deaf Black woman navigating systems that were not designed with her in mind.
