The Rat Study That Inspired Global Research in C60
All of us want to age as gracefully as possible. Luckily for those of us living in the 21st century, science can help.
One of the most exciting discoveries in the last decade was the work done by Fatmi Moussa and his team in France in 2012. The team’s findings showed unprecedented outcomes when they used C60, or buckyballs, in rats.
C60 is another name for buckyballs, also called fullerenes. These molecular structures are composed of carbon atoms, 60 to be exact.
