I attended the 2019 Piano Technicians' Guild convention in Tuscon AZ. 105F during the day. When the breeze comes it's how I imagine what it's like in a convection oven!

Tonight was a concert by the Rice Bros. on Shigeru Kawai piano. It was a fantastic evening of piano duets, cello and piano plus solo piano. Magnificent performance!

Have you seen/done this? Putting bottles of water in your piano is never a good idea. The piano gets water when it doesn't need it and doesn't get enough when it does, especially when the bottles are empty. Out of sight is out of mind so bottles aren't refilled until the tuner is coming (maybe) and that can be detrimental to the quality of the tuning.
Best is to keep the piano away from direct heat/cold and tune it once every 1 to 2 years.
