What a funny week it's been. We've had more than the usual amount of people ask for a (much) lower price on items, ask if we really donate money to the food bank (yes we do, 25% of all sales), insist that second hand items shouldn't be taxed (the government disagrees), hide food garbage behind items on shelves, break something and put it back on the shelf, tell us our prices are ridiculously high, a few that have left with bags or pockets a little more "full" than when they came in, and someone take not only the boxes of free clothing that we leave outside for people but the sign that said "please don't take the boxes" 😂 However, all of this has been completely eclipsed by the massive amount of smiling people that have donated items, put money into the food bank donation jar, shopped, and let us know how much they appreciate us for supporting the food bank. Happy Saturday everyone! We are open until 4:00 pm today 😊

This week's Last Chance items. 50% off the regular price. Any items left on this shelf at the end of the day on Saturday will move onto another thrift store or reuse center.

Great deal on items that have been passed over for months (or a year or 2).
This shelving unit if filled every Tuesday morning and the items left over at the end of the week will make their way to other thrift stores or the reuse center at the Windermere dump.

SOS: COLUMBIA VALLEY WE NEED YOUR HELP! We are desperately short of some basic staples as pictured in the photo. Canned peas, corn and mixed veggies, pasta sauce, soups, fruit such as fruit cocktail, peaches, pears etc. Pastas, rice, potato mixes for mashed and similar. Canned ham or chicken or turkey would also be a great addition. We receive a lot of beans already for things like chili so we aren't in need of these at the moment, and we have quite a bit of tuna too. BUT, our friends and neighbours who need a little hand also need some balance in their diets and our shelves are getting very low. If anyone who is able could add an item or two to their grocery run and pop even one item in the collection boxes at the grocery stores and around town, it would help A LOT and we would be extremely grateful! THANK YOU IN ADVANCE for whatever you can do to help us out.
