We’ll never tire of a pastel palette. It’s soft, whimsical, and lends to blooms that give your wedding that “just picked from the garden” feeling. The most beautiful designs aren’t meant to be perfectly polished and symmetrical, just like this gorgeous hand tied for M. Consider this post an ode to peony season, which is almost out the door (till we meet again 😢), and a love letter to a colorful, playful floral palette (oh how we adore you).

On May 5th of every year, we celebrate Cri Du Chat Awareness Day, a syndrome that my eldest daughter Elliott was born with. Cri Du Chat occurs when genetic material from the small arm of the 5th chromosome is deleted.

Elli is a ray of sunshine in our home, and is truly our biggest teacher. She has opened a window in our lives that would have otherwise stayed closed, and through it she has shown us a beautiful and unique life that may not be cookie cutter, but is so much more full and meaningful in all of the best ways. Elli is also the reason I decided to pursue florals full time as a career path (another gift from this amazing girl).

If you’ve been by the shop or come to see us at the Three Feathers Christmas Market, then you have probably met our Elli Bean (which honestly - lucky you!) Lucky all of us, really, to have you in our lives, sweet girl.

Happy Cri Du Chat Awareness Day to Elli, and to all the other beautiful and unique people with Cri Du Chat!

All these luscious blooms were repurposed from their ceremony space! Making sure these fleurs got to really have their moment, and the couple and their guests got to enjoy them alllll night long 🤍

L & R 💭

These beauties were part of the happiest game-time pivot. Our original plan was to design floral meadows at the base of each leg of the chuppah, but once setup began, it was clear there simply wasn’t enough space.
Enter: our acrylic pillars.

We lifted the two back arrangements and brought them just inside the chuppah — and suddenly, the space had the most beautiful levels and depth.

Sometimes the true magic lives in the pivot ✨
