🐓Rare Swedish Hedemora Breeding Trio up for grabs! 🐓
🥚All wooly feathering (like a silkie but with less “poof”)
Winter hardy and smart!
🥚Two hens are grey with one having melanistic skin
🥚Rooster is very sweet and majestic although he likes to be the only rooster in the pen. He unfortunately has lost the tips of his comb over this past winter .
🥚These birds do require lower roosting bars and laying boxes as their feathers don’t allow them to “fly” .
🥚All just turned two this May and rooster has had great fertility all season (90-100%)
🥚 Chicks have been hatching 50% grey and 50% white with up to 25% melanistic skin
🥚Hens lay almost everyday and lay often until around 4 -5 years (in my experience!)
🥚 100 for the trio
