Grateful to be donating these pieces to the upcoming banquet with the Wild Sheep Foundation Alberta Yellowhead Chapter.

A pair of handcrafted moose hide moccasins, finished with coyote fur — alongside a bighorn ram portrait I’ve been fortunate to spend time with over the years.

Both pieces are rooted in the same place — a deep respect for the wildlife and landscapes that continue to shape my work.

If you’re attending the banquet, I hope they find their way into the hands of someone who connects with them 🤍

Thank you to the chapter for everything you do for wild sheep conservation.

Hi friends,
You may notice a small change around here.

Silver Willow Co. is becoming Silver Willow North. Same hands, same heart, same work - just a name that better reflects what has grown and where it's rooted.

Nothing is changing drastically, I'm still creating the same handmade goods and workshops you've always known, just with a clearer direction and room to grow. More time spent in nature continues to shape my photography and my handmade work, bringing both together.

It may take a bit for the name to update everywhere, so thank you for your patience while things catch up.

I am grateful you're here and excited to keep creating along side of you.

- Barb

It’s market day! What a fantastic line up we have, from stained glass, wood working, silversmithing, pottery, photography, watercolour art, encaustic art, authors, leather & fur, welded art & bushcraft! A little something for everyone.

**County address is 50520 Hwy 16W**
Signs are being put up this morning, they say Artisan Market.

Directions from Hinton, head westout of town, watch for the “Scenic Route to Alaska” sign, take and immediate right, then left. You’ll see black gates, that’s the spot.

From the east, go past the Hiway 40N junction, take a left at the second approach and cross over the hiway to the gravel, take another left you’ll see black gates. If you’re coming from the north, maybe the Brule Christmas market, take a left onto Hwy 16E and follow the same from above.

Tapping the hastag on any of these posts, will also take you to the vendor spotlight’s and photo directions:)

Today is also the Brule Christmas Market, so if you’re out and about it’s a great day to hit both if you’re up for it! ~ Have an amazing day everyone.
