I graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Education, majoring in Early Childhood Education. I have taught in Alberta, BC and most recently in Auckland, New Zealand where we lived for 10 years. We moved to Hinton in 2016 and love it here! ive. Some of my earliest memories are of attending craft classes with my mom, making all sorts of fun projects. I was a stay at home mom to our three daughters (all born the same day - September 11 - twins in 1990 & 1992). I made, taught and sold a variety of arts and crafts in those years and absolutely loved spending time creating with my daughters! When I went back to work full-time, I put a lot of those hobbies on the back burner. This season of life has opened the door for me to not only create and sell my art, but also to open up my own arts and craft studio to share my passion with the community. I have many ideas bubbling for the future of Cheryl in Colour and I look forward to spending time creating with you and your children!
