Yay for Friday! Boy, this is so true. How often have you gone on line to place and order for a few stamp sets or bundles and then at checkout reality hits, way more in your cart. Do you go through your order and start deleting or do you go line by line to justify why you need that set?

Oh my, so engrossed in what I was doing I forgot it was Tip Tuesday.

When I make cards I often cut extra die cuts. I do this when I participate in swaps just in case I miscalculated the number that I needed or maybe one die or two die cuts with a stamped image just doesn’t look quite right or maybe a leaf die doesn’t have the same even edge all around it.

I was keeping extra die cuts in a plastic container. I occasionally went through the containers and used the die cuts on other cards I needed quickly. I found that I still wasn’t using them up fully.

The new method I have been using for over 6 months works for me so maybe it will work for you. I save the cello reusable clear bags from my embellishments (once the embellishments are fully used) and put my dies cuts into them. See picture below. I then slip that cello bag in with my stamps and dies. I find that this system has me using those extra die cuts and I also have the bundle right there in case there is a sentiment I may want to use.

How do you store your bits & pieces? Maybe you have another great way of storing them.

True or false?
I have embellishments in my stash older than 5 years old?
