Long live the lettuce (lettuces?) 🥬

April 22, I bought a $5 produce bag off . In the bag were carrots, a bag of lettuce hearts, a head of live lettuce, and other produce. I used the three lettuce hearts easily. We made Caesar salad and had a picnic. I put the lettuce hearts in water and they’re regrowing.

The lettuce head was used pretty quickly and in its entirety, so I put it in a jar with water and in a sunny spot. Yesterday I used more of it on our sandwiches. It’s lush again!

As for the green onions? They’re a whole story for another day.

3 years ago we did it again.

It’s chaos, organized, good, hard, new, the same, and many other adjectives and antonyms. I know I’d do it again any day. I’m so lucky to have so many people talking to me and pets asking for attention while I type this. My heart is full.

Restock!

If you’ve been on the website lately, you might have noticed that the only stock listings for beeswax wraps both individually and sets, and beeswax twist ties are random fabrics. Which means your patterns are a surprise, or you leave me notes about your preferences and I do my best.

With a break between markets you can expect to see more stock on the website this week. I will be adding many wraps, both individually and in sets, plus perfectly imperfect wraps.

Sometimes being a small business means having one batch of stock, and managing the balance between work life and home life. So tricky but so good.

I’ll be sure to post as stock is online.
