The East Coast Markets & Exchange Multicultural Summer Market & Shows returns to Foundation Wharf on the Halifax Waterfront on August 28 & 29! 🎶🌊🌍

After two amazing waterfront markets, we’re coming back even BIGGER for our third event — and trust us, you do not want to miss this one 🔥

We’re thrilled to announce that Alejandra Sanchez will be our MC for the Multicultural Marketplace on September 21!

Alejandra brings a wealth of experience working with multicultural communities and facilitating cross-cultural engagement. She is a skilled public speaker with a strong background in presentations, workshops, and training sessions, and has coordinated numerous community events, cultural celebrations, and networking initiatives.

An active volunteer supporting newcomers, mentorship programs, and multicultural associations, Alejandra is bilingual in Spanish and English, and excels at engaging diverse audiences in an inclusive and welcoming way.

We’re so excited to have her guiding the day and making this event truly unforgettable! ✨

🎶 Performer & Sound Spotlight – Lucas Greencorn 🎶

We’re thrilled to share that Lucas Greencorn will not only be performing at the Multicultural Marketplace on September 21st, but he’ll also be our Sound Technician for the day – making sure every note and every voice is heard loud and clear! 🎤🎸

Lucas is a genuine, authentic singer-songwriter from Canso, NS, with deep roots in Cape Breton Island. Having spent half his life there, he strives to leave a lasting impression through stories and songs that connect with the emotions we all share.

For two decades, Lucas has volunteered at the Stan Rogers Folk Festival in Canso, NS – with the past decade spent as part of the tech and stage crews. As both an artist and a tech, he truly knows the ins and outs of bringing live music to life. A graduate of the Centre for Arts & Technology in Halifax, NS, Lucas continues to dedicate his talents to building and supporting the music community.

We’re so excited to have him on stage and behind the soundboard for this special day!
