Construction update 😵💫
Not going to lie, it’s been a pretty stressful few weeks around here. The contractors started work on the side of our building, and then suddenly stopped. Then about a week later, we heard from our landlord that this job is going to be bigger than expected.
There is some structural work to be done on the front of the building, aka framing, and it’ll be more invasive than just redoing the siding. The contractors are currently waiting on the new permit required to complete this work, and we are waiting on details of what this will entail.
The uncertainty has been a lot to deal with. But we are trying to stay positive and focused on the fact that the building is being cared for and fixed. As a commercial renter, this is something we have no control over.
