This past winter was a bit of a slow one for me. Carpel Tunnel had me unable to crochet for several months, but time heals all things and at least a couple of projects were finished.

It's the circle of life. As I'm still saying good-bye to - and missing - my father, I'm creating a cozy little baby blanket and sweet, old fashioned bonnet for a little one who's new to the Earth. Everything is renewing.

Blanket it done in a light weight (3) pink peppermint twist. Blanket stitch with shell edging. $40

Bonnet is a super soft aran weight baby pink $10

Well, well, well. :) We are finally getting around to posting some pics of the things we've been making this winter. It's much easier to post pics of Christmas presents AFTER Christmas! lol! Right now Molly and I are working away at a Valentine wreath and some heart garland. We'll post pics as soon as they're finished. Wow! I can't believe how long it's been since we've talked to all of you! As you can imagine, Christmas prep as completely taken over our lives! But Molly & I are giving away no secrets. We'll just say that some members of our family are getting beautiful handmade Christmas presents this year!

WAAAAAAY back in the summer, we had a giveaway for your favourite crocheted item. Our winner was Roseanna Boyd. She chose a blanket. Lovely Roseanna gave me carte blanche on style and colours :D !! She'll be getting it very soon and has great plans for it!
