Rhythm & Colour Presents: Kris Guilty + Swee + Nadzz

We’re excited to announce the next R&C on Friday May 10th featuring Disk Jokey, Label and Record store owner Kris Guilty from Montreal.

Born and raised in Montreal, Kris Guilty is a child of family functions and the vibrant
experiences of the city life. For over 20 years now as a DJ, show promoter, record store
operator, bar booker, graphics maker, label head and lover of the night life, has
been participating and contributing to the local offerings.
No matter what comes next, it all started with the music, dance and gathering. The
record will always be priority, so you can expect DJ sets to give you the best trip
possible & more music via the shop/label to help get you there!

If you came to our parties often, you might met this dude before, I know many of you still don’t believe he’s name is Bob cuz his too cool lol. And y’all know he’s a really nice guy and have a good taste on outfitting.

Around 2 years ago, before I had Swee records even before I had the idea to open a record shop in my bubble tea shop, me and my homie and a couple more friends had the idea to throw out a vintage pop up in my bubble tea shop, so he can sell some his vintage clothing and I can sell some of my records, cuz back then he was already selling vintage clothing online as for quite a while. It was a really fun weekend, but I brought way too many records, for sure they won’t just sell out in a weekend. Then I left the records here in the shop, people started showing interest to them, after a few months I started Swee records.

Two years later Bob is still hustling, then finally he got his vintage clothing shop opened as a physical shop. Now here we got another cool small business run by Chinese cool kid in Halifax.

It’s in Dartmouth but go check it out! If you don’t drive, give Bob a call he might give you a ride to his shop. Great taste and selection, always fair price!!!
