This morning, Lukas got to pick out of our "Usborne Classic Readers." While he was playing with the cubes, I read the story he picked out loud to him. Once we finished, we talked about greed, and then we painted about the story. 🎨 🖌

At the back of some Usborne books, they have quicklinks! Quicklinks takes you to the story you read, then you can watch videos, play games, and find more information about the author, the story, etc. We learned lots about who William shakespeare was. 🙂

Fingertrail books are a favorite in our house! They are great for teaching them numbers and ABC's. 📚

Rae is starting to try to count and I had the perfect activity to show them some numbers with the dot markers! Lukas is a starting to become a great teacher at teaching her numbers and working on her colors 🎨

My little bakers 🥰

We made chocolate chip muffins this morning. We used our butter and buttermilk we made at the beginning of the week 🧈

We even made homemade fruit roll ups Monday. They are sweet but tasty 😋

Now we get to enjoy our muffins while we play board games on this cold morning 🥶

Found this thrifting find Childrens cookbook (farmyard tales) 😍

The kids were very excited to find the rubber duck on each page 🦆 They flipped through and picked Mrs. Boots special cherry cake, but we didn't have any cherries.. So we used cranberries

And of course Lukas had to use sprinkles on one side 🤣 they approved 😋😋

Best way for a quiet time.. cookies and a book 😍

This is the "My First Reading Library" perfect for beginners. The green books are the very first readers where parent and child reads. Each book has puzzles at the end of the story to look back 📚
