We are planning to do bon-odori, dance at Japanese festivals this year, and we are looking for dancers who can join at the audience level.

Gama by Lee のお弁当を食べながら、日本人、日系人コミュニティ、そしてHJCCについてより知ってもらうイベントとなっています。またこちらのイベントでは、子供向けに日本のゲームなども用意しています。

参加費はお弁当のサイズごとに分けてあります。

Come join us for lunch at 2629 Agricola St (inside the Italian Canadian Culture Association building) on August 15, 2026🌸🌊

This is a small gathering to get to know the community and HJCC while we enjoy the bento box from Gama by Lee. This is a family-friendly event, and there will be space for kids to enjoy some Japanese games and activities.

There will be two ticket types depending on the size of bento boxes:
🍱 $18 for full-sized bento (recommended for adults)
🍱 $12 for half-sized bento (recommended for children)

It went well thanks to all vendors and volunteers as always!!

We had first collaboration with Japanese School of Halifax for the workshop and also the chorus! Thank you for coordinators and students who participated.
