2025 Gingerbread Contest Winners:

1st place: Mr. M’s Grade 3/4 class with their Up House recreation 🎈
2nd place: Costco, complete with a parking lot 🛒
3rd place: A fun, beachy scene with teddy grahams by the pool 🏖️

All the classes did an amazing job! It gets better and better every year and is one of the favourite traditions of the HMB Holiday Market ❤️

Many gluesticks later, the DIY cardboard gingerbread houses are ready. Every class from kindy to Gr 7 will be decorating their own masterpiece - come to the HMB Holiday Market and vote for your favourite!

The class with the most votes will win a special treat, courtesy of the Halfmoon Bay Community School Association. Can’t wait to see what the kids create this year!

Each year, the HMB Holiday Market features 20 main vendors and over 30 kid vendors (accompanied by their parents and friends) during peak dinner hours from 5:30PM – 8PM … the perfect time for serving lots of hungry families!

We’re currently seeking family-friendly food trucks to enhance our busy Christmas market on Friday, Dec 5th. Spots are available in a designated OUTDOOR area at the main entrance to the event. Join us! Apply on the website hmbholidaymarket.ca

Welcoming youth vendors ages 7-16 years to join the HMB Holiday Market & Kids Craft Fair.

🎅 Don't wait - kid spots are already 55% full!

We offer a collaborative space for youth from all Sunshine Coast schools to sell their creations alongside established adult vendors in the community. And $300 in free Kidpreneur cash guarantees sales for the kids and makes it a successful night for everyone.
