✨ New Beginnings for The Glow Collective ✨
After much reflection, we’ve made the tough but necessary decision to temporarily pause operations and close our downtown Grande Prairie location as of March 15, 2025 (or sooner if we sell out).
This was the hardest decision we’ve had to make so far—why? Because ✨YOU✨, our incredible customers, mean the world to us, and we want to continue serving you.
There’s a saying: You’ve got to know when to hold ‘em and when to fold ‘em. And right now, we need to hold em, small businesses everywhere are facing some of the hardest times we’ve seen. We’ve watched a wave of closures across Canada, of large businesses and brands, and then the wave continued to hit small business and we have seen some of Canada’s and even closer to home, Alberta’s favourites close down. While we are all trying our hardest, the reality is—it’s really, really tough out there.
Additionally, with our lease coming to an end, we had to make the difficult decision about whether to stay or move on. And as we plan for the future we are looking for a space that better meets our evolving needs.
On top of shifting shopping habits and record-low months, we also face the looming threat of new tariffs and taxes. We know these changes will impact the entire supply chain and increase the overall cost of goods. With all these challenges in play, we know this is the right time to pause, reset, and prepare for a stronger future.

We’re taking this time to find the perfect new home—one that aligns with our vision and better serves you, our amazing community. We also recognize that the economy needs time to recover, and we want to relaunch when the moment is right.
But this isn’t goodbye—it’s just a break! You can still shop with us online at shoptheglowcollective.ca, we are going to keep some of our very favourites, tried and true, best selling brands. Until we close our store front, we’ll be doing markdowns that increase weekly—but shop early for the best selection as we will not be restocking for the sale!
