Mikis Art Shoppe is looking for a beading instructor. 🪡

As an initiative of the Grande Prairie Friendship Centre, we are creating space to share Indigenous art, culture, and skills through our hands-on workshops.

We’re looking for someone who has experience with bead work, is passionate about sharing their knowledge / teachings and is comfortable teaching in a group setting. This is a paid oppurtunity.

Please join the Grande Prairie Friendship Centre for the Annual MMIR 5KM Walk/Run tomorrow, May 5th.

To honour and remember as we raise awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit People.
All are welcome—wear red if you can, and walk or run at your own pace. ❤️

Date: May 5, 2025
Time: Registration starts at 4:00 pm

Red Dress Bead Kits will be available for those who wish to create and carry this reminder with them.
All proceeds go back into our Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit initiatives.

Have you seen Bear Grease yet? Had the pleasure of attending this weekend! It was full of laughter, amazing singing, and so much talent!

Pick up between 10 am to 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

Drop in, pick up your kit, and create with purpose while supporting awareness for MMIR.
