SHOP UPDATE. I am officially closed for custom orders for 2021. I am so, SO grateful for all of the business you guys are giving me. I’m overwhelmed with the love and support! I have to make the decision to stop accepting new custom orders (scroll saw, wreaths, anything) until 2022. I have new Christmas items coming down the pipes and will be listed shortly! I thank you all again for your support and I’m looking forward to reopening custom orders January 1st! (On a side note, there are a few people I have talked to this week about custom orders, don’t panic if you see this, I will still be taking your orders once we decide on designs.)

My Etsy shop is OPEN! I took a nice long break from mid July until now. My sister got married in August and I just got married this past weekend. Now that all the events are over, I’m ready to get back to work! I am officially open for new orders and custom orders until November 30, 2021.

Just a few housekeeping notes:
🌻 I may close custom orders earlier depending how busy I get, so if you have something in mind let me know!
🌻 Address signs will NOT be available until January 1, 2022. I learned from last year that juggling address signs and Christmas orders was just too much.
🌻 I am skipping fall decor all together (unless you request a custom order). I will be diving right into Christmas ASAP. I will be making new signs and ornaments. There will not be an official Christmas collection drop, I will just post as I go. There are already some ornaments listed in my shop (that you’ve seen from me every year) but I will have a few new ornaments listed before Halloween.

I am so ready to get making again! Last year I missed out on making so many of my Christmas ideas because I ran out of time. This year I will make as much Christmas as I can! Wish me luck with my Christmas 2021 season since it almost killed me last year 😂🎄

And that’s a wrap on Summer 2021 orders. My plan was to continue to take orders until the end of July, but it’s been BUSY! I need to get caught up and then switch my focus to weddings! I will be reopen for orders on October 15. Thanks for understanding. Time to get married and watch my sister get married!

Long post warning.

I’ve been doing lots of thinking and “soul searching” or whatever recently and just trying to figure out how to make my business run the way I want. For years now I have accepted orders almost every day of the year. It wasn’t until Christmas of 2020 that I decided I needed to close for almost a month and catch up and regroup. When I look back on 2020 I honestly can’t remember much of it. The year went by so fast and I was so busy. 2020 was the busiest year in my shop by far and I loved it, but I also was exhausted and busy all. the. time. For the first time in my life I have a normal 8-4 Monday-Friday job. But then when I come home I go into the shop and continue to work. On the weekends, I live in the shop.

I’ve decided that this year I need more time for me. I haven’t filed anything in my filing cabinet for about 2 years. The stack of papers to file is 2ft tall (I’m not kidding). I don’t clean my house nearly enough. I don’t chill nearly enough. I’m getting married in 6 months and need to make my wedding invitations. I need to make my wedding signs and guest book, etc. I need time for me.

With all of that being said, I’ve decided to take orders from the 1st to 15th of each month, then close and catch up on orders, as well as my own life. If I still have time left over then I’ll continue to make new items. This plan starts this month. If the 1st to 15th isn’t incredibly busy then I will possibly stay open until the 20th, but I will monitor that on a month to month basis. So if you’ve been wanting to place an order this month, do it by the 15th, then I’ll put my shop on vacation mode and reopen on May 1. I’m going to trial this out and plan to continue this way over the summer. I hope you all can understand. I won’t be away while my shop is closed, I’ll still be working on your orders or new items, I just won’t be accepting new orders.
