🛡 Another day, another ornament...
This time, we’re heading to the northern tip of Newfoundland with a piece that celebrates L'Anse aux Meadows — a place steeped in history and mystery.

It’s the only confirmed Norse settlement in North America, dating back over 1,000 years. Designing this piece made me feel connected to something ancient and awe-inspiring. The sod buildings, the ship, the coastline — all layered and hand-painted to honour this incredible UNESCO World Heritage Site.

"Winter in Sexsmith" I created this ornament especially for Elevate the Season this year. It challenged my drawing and design skills but I am really happy with the finally product. With each new ornament design I get a little better and little more confidence. I have a growing list of new ornament design I want to complete I just need to find the time to do them all.
