Sue Stymest is back on the island and getting ready to open up her adorable Pettes cove art shop for the season.

Sue was the first person to take me in so to speak, on the island. Her and her daughter are the sweetest and most kindest people you'll ever meet.

They are the biggest reason I felt safe coming here in the very beginning, alone.

Sue has an amazing assortment of hand made jewlery, art, and crafted items and clothing options in every square inch of her shop.

A very high percentage of what she has, is all from local artists. I have many pieces in my home.

Her jewlery imo are art pieces in and of them seves, and they will always be precious and unique to me.

Search my page for pettes cove arts and you will see many of her things. I currently own more than a dozen pieces of her jewlery, and even more of her hoodies because I am that obsessed. The hoody and ball cap I have on, both came from her shop.

She is not open yet, but go find her pettes cove arts fb page and be sure to follow so you will see when she opens. On the island, the islanders know when Sue is open by the large vibrant open flag hanging off her shop door on pettes cove.

Every square inch is covered in items .....you just have an overwhelming urge to take it all home hahahahaha.

When you exit the ferry and get to the stop sign, turn right by 500 meters and her shop is on the left. If you get to pettes cove beach, you've gone 30 seconds too far 😆.

Shout out also to Mère's Cafe for the warm drinks this afternoon on a cold day, and the yummy blueberry muffins. ❤️

After a great 2025 season, PETTES COVE ARTS will be CLOSING FOR THE SEASON at the end of this month. I need to have knee surgery or I won't be able to open in 2026.
There are lots of items your family would love for Christmas, so please come in and see me before I close. Thank you again everyone for a wonderful summer.
