I don't make a new bedspread for myself often because the king size can be a bit intimidating. But I figured it was time and what I expected to take a year to slowly piece, came together very quickly. And, I even had time to piece a, matching wall hanging from the scraps today. Excited to get these on the longarm!

I know it looks a lot like the last one, it is the same pattern. But this one is made from men's neckties. Bit of a challenge working with all those different fabric types.

Starter blocks for two different projects using variations of the same base star. Patterns with stars are catching me eye this year.

The last 12 months have been crazy but we are settling in now and the sewing machines have been retrieved from storage. Even Rayna has been working on a project of her own. Going to tackle a block of the month project made using HSTs this year. This is actually the October block but I wanted to do it differently than the pattern suggested and wanted to get it done while it was on my mind. Had to go through several background fabric choices before settling on this one. Hope it works out...
