Aloe vera is one of those summer staples you’re always glad to have around. 🌿☀️

Whether your skin is feeling dry, irritated, or a little overexposed to the sun, aloe vera products can provide a cooling, soothing feel while helping moisturize the skin.

A few quick things to know:

🌿 Commonly used in after-sun and skin-care products
💧 May help hydrate and calm dry-feeling skin
☀️ Can help soothe the discomfort of minor sunburns
🧴 Use on intact skin and stop if irritation develops

Our pharmacists can assess a recent suspected tick bite and, when clinically appropriate, prescribe medication to help prevent Lyme disease.

Eligible New Brunswick residents with a valid Medicare card may receive the pharmacist assessment at no cost.

Visit the pharmacy within 72 hours of removing the tick and before symptoms develop.

If you notice a rash, fever or flu-like symptoms, seek medical attention.

Regular use can help reduce UV damage, premature skin aging and the risk of skin cancer. Choose a broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher, apply it generously and reapply every two hours, especially after swimming or sweating.
