Hello edible image printing friends!

I have a customer who accidentally ordered the wrong edible ink cartridges this past week and she’s hoping to find someone in the Calgary area who’d be interested in them.

The 2 Icing Images 280/81 cartridges are opened, but unused. Both yellow and blue cartridges are available, which is 2 of 5 of the needed cartridges for the compatible Canon Printers.

I have a friend in Grande Prairie who is desperately looking for a snowflake mold, as she misplaced hers and needs it for a cake this weekend. I’d ship her one from our store in Fort Saskatchewan, but unfortunately it wouldn’t make it in time.

Google decided to take it down, even after sending a notice to us that it "doesn't go against" their standards. Either way, yay!!

We truly appreciate all the support, kind word and positive reviews from our customers after this was posted. You all are amazing!]

Someone is maliciously trying to sabotage our business through Google.

We have no idea who these people are or have ever had unsatisfied customers (that we’re aware of). No customers have ever ordered through us using these names, or even last names. This is the second random account, who posted a one star review in one week.

Does anyone know how to get Google to take down these reviews?

We reported the review. This person left a review (June 22nd) with a suspected AI screen shot, dated 4 days beforehand (June 18th), claiming we were angry about their review. It’s impossible to reply to a review before the review is posted, so it’s more than obviously fake.

Is anyone else going through this? Help!

So, we received our very first 1 star review on Google yesterday, but do you know what’s the worst part?

We have no idea who they are.

One of the most detrimental things that can happen to a business is getting bad reviews. That said, if it was due to bad service, we all need these reviews to know whether we want to choose a service these businesses provide. I take reviews to heart and use it to improve customer’s experience.

Unfortunately, there are scammers or people who act in bad faith to undermine all the hard work that goes into a business. For a big business, this may not affect them at all, but, being a small business, owned and operated by myself, this is truly disheartening and frustrating.

I don’t expect Google to take it down. It has been reported, but we all know how online appeals go. 😔

After I got the notifications about the review, I immediately searched our orders from the entire past month. Turns out, there have been no orders with this name, no orders from Toronto within this timeframe (within a week before or after) and every single order has been delivered prior to this past week. I left a review reply, but not a single response.

Once I ruled out that this customer even existed, I thought, why wouldn’t someone contact us by email, website, or even Socials if they couldn’t get through over the phone? Immediate red flag, right?!

So here I am, anxiety inflicted, because I work so hard to make sure all our customers have a positive experience and yet can’t do anything to appeal this negative review.

However, if you’ve had a positive experience with My Sweet Source, can I ask a HUGE favour? Please leave us a review on Google. This would absolutely make my day! Meanwhile, I’ll keep working my butt off with my now 4.9 Star business. 🩷🥴
