On June 5th, Agency One kicked off its traditional canoe-building workshop! Participants got a great start on their canoes, and the fun continues June 19th, 20th, and 21st as they complete their hard work. We can't wait to see the finished results! 🛶

We were honored to receive this write up following the National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and 2SLGBTQI+ people event and awareness walk❤️

“Giishkaandago’ Ikwe Health Services partnered with several community organizations on May 5, 2026, in recognition of Red Dress Day—the National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and 2SLGBTQI+ people. The event included an awareness walk and a community BBQ, bringing people together in remembrance, reflection, and advocacy.

To support this important gathering, we engaged Cedar Creek Design for event rentals, including a hex tent, tables, and chairs. Our experience working with their team was exceptional. Alyssa and Chelsey demonstrated a high level of professionalism, responsiveness, and clear communication throughout the planning process.
