We recently learned about a term called a “glimmer.”
A glimmer is essentially the opposite of a trigger. They are the small moments that bring feelings of joy, peace, comfort, gratitude, or connection. Tiny reminders that life still holds beauty, even during difficult seasons.
A good conversation. A quiet drive home. A song you forgot you loved. Fresh flowers from the farmers market. Discovering a cute little store in your town. Trying a new local restaurant that ends up becoming a favourite. The way the sky looked tonight. A deep breath that finally felt calming. A laugh you genuinely needed. A pet curling up beside you. A moment where things felt okay, wholesome, and comfortable, even if only briefly.
The more we begin noticing glimmers, the more we start finding them everywhere.
