This special event was for such a good cause, raising funds to purchase equipment for our local hospital.

Location: Sparwood, BC

Wage: $18.25 per hour + TIPS

☕️🍫 We’re a cozy, locally loved chocolate/coffee shop in Sparwood, specializing in premium handcrafted chocolates and quality coffee/non-coffee drinks.
With a warm community atmosphere and one current barista on the team, we’re excited to welcome a reliable and upbeat part-time barista to join our small crew!

What you’ll do:

- Craft beautiful espresso-based drinks, specialty beverages, and non-coffee options

- Deliver warm, genuine customer service to our regulars and visitors

- Assist with light food service (chocolates, pastries) and help keep the café clean and inviting

- Operate the POS system and handle cash and transactions accurately

- Pitch in with opening/closing duties and basic inventory tasks

What we’re looking for:

- 1 year of barista or café experience is preferred, but we are fully willing to train the right enthusiastic candidate

- Strong customer service skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

- A genuine passion for coffee, chocolate, and creating positive experiences for guests

- Reliable, positive attitude with flexible availability (including Saturdays and some mornings/evenings)

- Legally eligible to work in Canada

What a day…

I'm still sitting here trying to process it all.
Our 5th anniversary celebration was unreal 🥹

Seeing around 100 incredible people fill the shop, laughing, chatting, tasting chocolate samples, sipping coffee, and getting excited over the giveaways… honestly, it was the best thing my heart could have asked for.
You made every single moment unforgettable!

This little chocolate shop? One day, it was just a DREAM I whispered to myself. Something that felt so far away and almost impossible.

Today, I stood in the middle of it, surrounded by all of YOU, and realized that dreams do come true!
