This is my memere’s recipe book that I sent pictures of to a tattoo artist to create the quote on my forearm in her handwriting. It reads « Néanmoins elle a persisté . » which translates to “Nevertheless she persisted”. My grandmother was a strong woman. She was a single mother who raised her kids alone in the 1970’s. She had her flaws like we all do but I have always admired her resilience💗 This is my tribute to her and a reminder that there is always a way.
