This isn't something I usually post about, but with so many of you following along on this journey, it felt right to share.
In just a few short weeks, our family will be welcoming our second baby into the world. 💕
If you've stopped by my booth at a market or event recently, you've probably noticed I'm well into my third trimester and getting very close to the finish line. Because of that, July 4th will be my last market before I take a step back to focus on family and soak up those newborn days.
While I won't be attending any more markets this summer, Alpine Kneedles isn't going anywhere. I'll still be shipping yarn, tools, notions, and handmade scrunchies through my online shop, and my husband and I are busy working on something exciting behind the scenes: an in-home yarn studio where we'll eventually be able to offer yarn shopping by appointment right here in the Columbia Valley.
This season has already been filled with so many exciting things. Our Summer Knit Along has officially kicked off, and I've loved seeing the enthusiasm from everyone joining in. I've even started toying with the idea of a future sock club because, let's be honest, there are never enough socks on the needles. 🧦
As I head into maternity leave, I just want to say thank you. Every market visit, order, comment, message, recommendation, and conversation has meant more than you know. Small businesses grow because people choose to share them with others, and this community has been incredibly supportive.
If you've enjoyed following along, I'd be so grateful if you'd share my page with a friend, family member, fellow maker, knitter, crocheter, or anyone who might enjoy what we do here. Your support helps keep the momentum going while I take some time to focus on our growing family.
Thank you for being here. ❤️
And a special thank you to my dear friend for capturing this moment 🩷
