Hi.
Big time business social media slacker here.
Thought I would pop on over the next little while to add some colour and personality to my feed. I get to work with some pretty amazing humans on some pretty cool events. And I could certainly do a better job at sharing what’s happening at Snowberry.
The truth is, I am usually pretty happy with the real life connections and fun times that my work takes me and I forget to keep current with my posts. And to be honest, sometimes taking time to post isn’t high on my priority list. Especially if I could be outside instead of on my phone, or sharing a laugh with a customer or vendor. Idk. Call me old fashioned.
I am also a huge over thinker when it comes to this space. Will my caption be funny/cool/current? Will my photos capture the work properly? Will people think it’s good enough to share?? Do I think it’s good enough to share?? These are all things that run through my mind when it comes to sharing here.
I struggle with the trends and how fast they spread and change. How it’s getting harder and harder to stand out as an individual when everything looks the same. Sometimes I don’t even recognize the accounts that I follow because there are so few differences between the content that we are all sharing.
I guess what I’m rambling on about is that I will do better at sharing and will overthink less ish and hope that my little corner of social media stands out in its own way. As genuine as I can make it and hope that you all enjoy what I share. Or not. Just be nice. 😘
Thanks to all the folks who have shared similar feelings about this recently, and by doing so have encouraged me to share more and to have fun doing it the way I want to.
