Oh forgot to mention, last week the guy came to inspect the furnace, and guess what? It had a LOT of water in it, so it's also going to need to be replaced. 🤨

We've been waiting in limbo for *anything* restoration-wise to start inside the store, but it turns out that the holdup has been because all the insurance companies are waiting to make sure the roof is fixed before doing any further work inside.

They've got it MOSTLY sorted and should be completely done with the roof in the next few days, and then the chaos will finally move inside.

Thought you all would appreciate this pic that the roofer sent to us of where he believes most of the water came in.🤨

Update: Everything is still chaotic at Dominion Vacuum! 🤨

We're still waiting on the restoration team so half of our front sales area stuff is shoved into the other half, our repair department is still mostly closed, AND because our storage room was affected by the flood and we don't have any place to put anything, we're not really ordering stock at the moment.

However, if you're looking for any machine we don't have, we can order it in for you and have it within a couple days (for SEBO) and usually about a week for everything else.

Please bear with us and (hopefully - fingers crossed, toes too!) we'll get through this reasonably quickly.

Bad news. We had the restoration guy out and it seems as if the damage from Friday's storm is more extensive than we originally thought.

Unfortunately starting next week our repair department will have to be dismantled while dealing with major water damage in the back of the store. So that means we will NOT be taking in repairs until further notice.

We're planning on being open for sales, bags, and SOME parts, and possibly minor repairs that we can do at the counter. If you have questions, feel free to reach out by phone or email or drop by to commiserate and/or bring us cookies.

It sucks, but hopefully it won't be for long. Thanks for your understanding.
