It has been off the charts busy over the past month with constant changes mostly caused by weather, but the Show Must Go On.
With that comes another great review on Wedding Wire.

Sofia & Cody’s Wedding - July 18, 2026

Darrell was very professional and amazing!! He knows how to keep our dance floor full! We got hit by a storm at the end of the night but he was unbothered. We asked if he was worried about his speakers and such but he said it’s okay and kept the party going!! If we could give him 12 stars we would! We are recommending him to all of our friends currently planning a wedding. He was such an awesome guy and very budget friendly too considering the services he did for us. No regrets hiring him and will definitely hire him again if we plan a big party again!!

Another Wet, Wild & Long Weekend has come to an end.
Started off by the late set up of our Dance Floor Service at the Delta Center Suites, alternate last minute venue do to flooding. Followed by and early morning set up, again, do to flooding at the FANTASTIC Russtic Resort. It may be private & secluded, but if George will rent to you...USE IT! Start with the Ceremony of Cody & Sofia, then off to the Reception. The Thunderstorm from Hell may have scared off half the guests, but for those that chose to stay and party...Their memories of getting Wild & Wet will last a lifetime. Thanks again, for choosing Crazy D's.

Another awesome set up of our Top Dance 3-D LED Mirror Dance Floor Service. After a venue change do to the water damage across the province. Now ready at the Delta Center Suite Ballroom for Andrew & Bee's Wedding Party tomorrow evening. Hopefully they share some photos from the party.

Another wild and wet weekend. All started off with the set up at the Garden Venue for an outdoor ceremony on Friday night...Botched Big Time with a storm unlike any other. Set up our Top Dance 3-D LED Dance Floor Service at the Red Tail Landing for their Wedding Reception & Party. Then return to the Garden Venue to encounter and even greater storm. Regardless my groom Dawson is insistent on an outdoor ceremony. Well the change in the weather at exactly 2:27 Pm gives me 33 minutes to get my previous outdoor set up functional. Ultimately, the weather cleared, and everyone had a great time. Crazy D's always goes that extra mile. Hopefully, I can get some client photos, as I barely had time to take any.

After a few weeks of Repairing, and Reprogramming our Top Dance Dance Floor. I am happy to announce it is back in full working order for all to enjoy.

Long weekend?
Busy weekend.
Crazy D's would like to thank the Bailey Theatre, for allowing set up Friday night, and Simon for giving access to the house system, made life very cool having a bird's eye view.
Excellent facility too for Tarina & Justin's Party.
Then off to the Westin, and the Karate Canada Awards Banquet (a great honor to be part of). Where Crazy D's (standard system) pounded out the hits of the world of today and yesterday for a few hours.

A pretty cool internet find

One of the cool things about a "Cloud", is everything is saved. Regardless where it came from, someone took a photo of something.
Perhaps it was a memory, perhaps it was doctored, perhaps public or private.
Regardless, it never goes away, and sometimes surfaces in a reincarnated form.
Now here it is, the cool thing.
I noticed a photo of a dance floor, but it stood out because of the "Centerpiece" light fixture.
Not a lot of those in existence, even fewer in a mobile setting. But I have been using one, along with other Martin "Robo" fixtures since back in the 90's. And that is why I stopped and looked. After some digging, and getting the meta data, I discovered it was taken on November 19, 2011. The Christmas tree kind of threw me off, but I still checked all of my records.
I was doing the Comedy Night for the Devon Scouts at the Devon Community Center, and everything came together.
I did enhance the photo (the lighting a bit), to recognize my Chauvet Vues.
All that detective work takes me back to the end of the night at the Devon Community Center for the Comedy Night that they used to throw, and Crazy D's happened to be the chosen Light, Sound & DJ.

Unfortunately our Alto Stealth Pro decided it's time was up. Unable to get any parts, as this was a pretty exclusive product (and rock solid), I was forced to do a lot of research for a comparable product.
