We are incredibly honoured to announce that Bear's Essence has been selected as featured jewelry designers for the "She Blooms" Indigenous Fashion Show at Mêskanâs: Celebrating Indigenous Culture, hosted by the University of Alberta Botanic Garden on June 14, 2026.

A special thank you to Monica Rain, (Sky Rain) Fashion Show Coordinator and founder of Little Tipi Family, for believing in us and creating opportunities that uplift Indigenous artists, designers, and entrepreneurs. We are so grateful for her support, guidance, and encouragement.

And not only will we be participating in the fashion show, but we will also be set up as vendors throughout the day. We will be bringing a selection of our handmade jewelry, including a few limited-edition fashion statement pieces that will be available while quantities last.

We had the absolute honour of meeting Tantoo Cardinal and gifting her a pair of Bear’s Essence earrings this weekend.

Seeing strong Indigenous women like her growing up meant so much to us, so this felt like such a full circle moment. Her kindness and support genuinely meant the world 🤍
