Mozart or Motley Crue? 🎻🎸 Science officially weighed in on what happens when you play music for your vegetable plants, and the results are incredible.

A study published in Evolutionary Studies in Imaginative Culture tracked Bok Choy plants grown under three conditions: Classical Music, Rock Music, and absolute silence.

The winner by a landslide? Team Classic (no pun intended 😉). The classical 🎼 music crops exploded, producing the highest total weight, the most leaves, and stouter, thicker root systems.

The biggest surprise? The rock music crops scored the lowest across every single category, even underperforming compared to the plants left in total silence! Erratic, harsh vibration frequencies actually cause stress to developing plant cells.

Well, we were planning to use this exact strategy today. But with all the rain coming down out there, we are officially trapped inside with the chores. 😩

Honestly, we can't even be mad. This moisture is so needed for our Alberta soil and is going to make everything look incredibly vibrant this week! 🌧️🌾

Since the greenhouse is closed on Sundays anyway, we guess it is time to finally tackle that indoor to-do list... or we could just sit on the couch with a coffee and plan our next garden project instead. Who else is choosing option two today? Stay dry out there!
