🎃 The golden age of Halloween postcards🎃 ran from approximately 1905 to 1915. Spurred by the rise of rural mail delivery and German chromolithography, an estimated 3,000 unique spooky designs were mailed. These collectibles helped standardize holiday imagery before trick-or-treating began, focusing instead on divination games and romantic parlor rituals. Early correspondence cards prominently featured illustrations of witches, jack-o’-lanterns, black cats, and owls. These
vintage greetings were often whimsical, romantic, or centered on party invitations. Common themes depicted apple bobbing, gazing into mirrors to see a future spouse, or pranks like hayrides and tipping cows.

We love bringing these beautiful illustrations back to life in a new medium - high quality jewelry. We custom create our own lavish charms in sturdy acrylics.
