Our community food + drink fund card is currently empty!

How it works:
Folks can ask to make a contribution to the gift card or toss their change in the jar right next to our tip jar. We load these donations onto a gift card that we keep on hand for when community members come in wanting a snack, a hot meal, a coffee, or a cold drink.

If you would like to contribute to the community fund, helping to support ERC and our neighbours, please let us know!

Our upcoming repair cafe is on Sunday, August 16th from 11am-2pm!

Things to note:
🧵Volunteers are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
🪡 There is no guarantee that your item will be fixed due to limited skills and materials.
🔧 The repairs are free, but we would greatly appreciate your support by buying a coffee, snack, or something else while you’re here so we can continue hosting community events like these!

Join Isabelle on August 15 on the piazza to get a taste of dance and movement! 🕺🕺

Family Dance & Movement - 2 classes, 10:3-11:10am and 11:15-Noon

Dance can strengthen bonds between family and friends. Come and play with us as we move with all members of the community and learn dance choreography to engage the whole family. Classes will include a variety of styles and many fun moves! All ages and abilities.

Tomorrow we are hosting a Solar Fest Day (12-3pm).

You can learn how to make a pizza box solar oven, get a Solar-powered hair cut by Mark from True Blue Barber & Shop chat with local solar experts from the Solar Super Store sample some solar cookies, see a variety of dollar cookers, pick up a book from Paper Birch Books displays by.Solar Alberta SPICE hear Michael Janz talk about solar balconies and more.

The pizza box solar oven is a family friendly activity.

The hair cut is by donation.



The coop is also hosting a clothing swap from 11-3pm.
