The joys of doing it yourself!

I’m not overly disappointed tbh. My first tackle at designing and printing myself and besides one side being upside down, this isn’t horrible!

Now that I have a good grasp on Canva, file types and what they do, and designing, I’m able to actually create without getting too discouraged.

Also, after much work in the back end and mentioning the above statement, I’m hoping to have my website up and running by the end of the month! So you won’t have to wait until a market to get your own Heron&Hem pieces!

Really hoping that in the near future, I will have my main collection prints then a “made to order/custom” section where you can choose your own style! While that may limit what I can’t show on my website, a custom order I could should you everything I got in an email.

Can’t wait for the site to “go live”!!

Sunday mornings are for crafting!!

Rowan did an amazing job on her pillowcase! All done by her, with guidance from me, from the first measurement to the last snip of thread. I’m very proud of her for making this in the few hours she’s been working with me. Next week, we’re doing a lined bag with a zippered pocket!

So glad she’s enjoying sewing and excited for her to experience the joys of creating!
