I turned 30 today and I can’t stop thinking about how lucky I am to be exactly where I am, even with all the bumps in the road.

After a tough and bittersweet year, from getting laid off a week before our wedding to a massive loss in our family, I now know what is now most important to me.

It’s definitely made me realize I shouldn’t spend time doing things that don’t fuel me, like working a corporate career that lacks purpose or hanging out with people that make me question myself.

Instead, I feel more inspired to make my heart really feel and to experience everything around me. Not just a quick glance at it, but truly feel things for what they are because everything is fleeting and we don’t know if we’ll ever have it again.

So as cliche as it is, this is your reminder that life is precious and every moment counts. Don’t take it for granted and don’t wait another year to do what truly makes you feel alive ✨⏳
